Rape of Nanjing Prompt

This past week you have studied much of what happened during the Rape of Nanjing. Writing Prompt: In your opinion, what justice should be applied, if any, to the Japanese soldiers who participated in in the atrocities. Are they responsible for their own actions or was their indoctrination (brainwashing) ultimately responsible? Your answer should be in the form of a paragraph. Due tomorrow.

I think the justice that should be applied to Japanese soldiers who participated in the atrocities should be a sentence to death. They sentence to death should be the same way the women and men were killed. They should be tortuer or be shot and hang. I think it was indoctrination of there ruler. The ruler told the Japanese soldiers that the Chinese people were nothing, they were just a piece of trash and they could do what ever they wanted to do.
